This adapter allows you to transform your NRG mobile charging station into a fixed charging station.

The connector is initially supplied in a 32 amp version, which allows charging with high power over an extended period, giving you access to a powerful charging station at home.

It also comes in a 16 amp version for less powerful electrical installations, offering a charging station with lower power.

What power should I choose for the wall connector?

At home or in the office single-phase (220-230 V):

• 16 A = Up to 3.7 kW charging power
• 32 A = Up to 7.4 kW charging power

In a company, an industrial site, a three-phase house ( ≈ 400 V):

• 16 A = Up to 11 kW charging power
• 32 A = Up to 22 kW charging power

No external connection possible
The NRGkick wall outlet has a proprietary connection interface, ensuring that no unintentional devices can be connected to the outlet.

Perfect for construction installations
Wall boxes are often installed in building installations for charging electric vehicles because people cannot or do not want to install freely accessible CEE sockets. With the NRGkick wall socket, there is now an extremely cost-effective alternative: Instead of a freely accessible CEE socket or an expensive wall box, the NRGkick wall socket is installed.
The proprietary connection interface excludes the possibility of strangers/other devices being connected to the socket. If an electric vehicle needs to be charged, the NRGkick charging unit can be connected to the socket at any time and immediately. This allows a large number of potential charging points to be realised at minimal cost.

Remarkably smooth operation
Connecting and disconnecting the NRGkick charging unit to the NRGkick wall socket is significantly easier than with a CEE socket thanks to the excellent contact properties and materials used.

Temperature monitoring and overheating protection of the socket
Like all NRGkick Smart Attachments, the NRGkick Wall Plug also has temperature monitoring – on each individual phase pin. This means that your NRGkick knows exactly if too much heat is being generated due to an incorrectly installed plug and prevents dangerous situations before they occur. If your plug gets too hot, NRGkick regulates the charging current completely independently.

Avoid arcing with automatic hot detection
If a charging unit is disconnected from the power supply while charging, a dangerous arc occurs that damages the contacts. Due to the way the NRGkick wall plug and the patented high-level safety connector system work, arcing is completely excluded – it is the only charging unit on the market where the current flow is interrupted before the contacts even separate!

Protection against miswired outlets
NRGkick detects if the wall socket has been incorrectly connected or installed – for example, if a second phase has been connected instead of the neutral conductor. This allows it to alert the user by means of an LED signal on the charging unit and the Connection Unit that there is a problem and prevents charging.

Additional LED indicator on the connector unit
NRGkick Smart Attachments are connected to the NRGkick Connector Unit – there is an additional LED display that informs you about the status of your charging unit at all times.

Optimal haptics
The NRGkick connector unit engages visibly and securely in the NRGkick wall socket – accidental disconnection is impossible. At the same time, the soft-component surface of the plug system with good grip allows you to disconnect the charging unit quickly and easily if necessary.

Automatic detection of maximum charging current for your safety
The NRGkick wall socket is automatically recognized and identified by the NRGkick charging unit. This ensures that the charging current does not exceed the value for which the wall socket is approved.
