To use the photovoltaic charging function with NRGkick, all you need is a software update for your NRGkick, which is activated via the NRGkick app. No additional hardware is required.
The feature is configured directly in the NRGkick app and takes only a few minutes. No programming knowledge is required.

You can use the NRGkick app to optimize all loading strategies and create up to 5 different profiles where your personalized settings are saved.

Charging processes can be optimized with minimum or maximum power within a given time.
The power produced or the surplus of the photovoltaic system can be conveniently distributed among different consumers

With the detailed adjustment options in the NRGkick app, you can tailor your photovoltaic charging to your needs and make it as efficient as possible.

In the NRGkick app, choose between “Excess Charging”, “100% Sun” or “Injection LimitPLUS” charging strategies, then set individual adjustments.

Recommendation :
- The “Excess Load” charging strategy is particularly relevant if there is a smart meter in the home.
-If no smart meter is integrated into the system, the “100% solar” function is recommended.
-If you want to inject the maximum amount of electricity into the grid (for resale) while efficiently charging your electric car, the “Injection LimitPLUS” strategy is suitable for your needs.
